9-10 Minors - Boys

● All Little League rules apply

● No dropped 3rd strike rule

● Only allowed 3 “official coaches” on field / in dugout during game

● Coaches may not be substituted for games

● One coach in dugout with team at all times

● Little League pitch count and days of rest rules must be followed!

● Each head coach is responsible to fill out a pitch count sheet for each pitcher every game. Each head coach must have his pitch count sheet signed by the official score keeper and the opposing head coach prior to leaving the field after each game. Pitch count sheets must be retained for the entire season and presented to the opposing head coach for review prior to each game.

- 1st offense: warning, meet with Baseball VP prior to next game
- 2nd offense: one game suspension, meet with League President prior to next game
- 3rd offense: possible removal from coaching position, meet with board

● Games will be called off only by the League President (in advance) or the Umpire (at game time)

● Rain out games will be rescheduled by the League President

● All Regular Season Games will be 6 innings or 1 hr 50 min max (no new inning after 1 hr 30 min)

● Each half inning will end when the fielding team records 3 outs or the batting team scores 5 runs whichever occurs first. The “5 Run Rule” will be suspended for the last inning to be played.

● 10 Run “Mercy Rule” in effect after 4 innings.

● Field set up / clean up

● 2 Sanford Teams: Home sets up, Away cleans up

● Sanford vs Out of Town Team: Home sets up and cleans up

● Players and Coaches receiving game ejections or suspensions will not be eligible for Post Season All-Star play

● If an umpire is not available at game time, games will still be played as scheduled with a coach from the fielding team umpiring from behind the pitcher’s mound.
